You’ll play a central role monitoring patients’ cardiac rhythms, supporting rapid interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a cardiac telemetry or step-down unit
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
  • Proficient in interpreting cardiac rhythms and managing telemetry equipment
  • Strong documentation and patient assessment skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and clinical judgment
  • Collaborative mindset for effective interaction with physicians, patients, and families
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding to changes promptly
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
  • Perform thorough and ongoing patient assessments, adjust care plans as needed
  • Communicate changes in patient status to physicians and fellow healthcare providers
  • Educate patients and their family members on prescribed therapies and recovery processes
  • Accurately document all care provided and patient responses
