Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered RN license
  • Previous experience in a Telemetry or Progressive Care Unit preferred
  • Strong knowledge of telemetry monitoring, cardiac rhythms, and emergency response procedures
  • Ability to rapidly assess patients and respond with sound clinical judgment
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Proficient charting skills with electronic health records
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities

    • Responsibilities:

  • Conduct frequent monitoring and assessment of cardiac monitored patients
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
  • Interpret and report ECG findings, recognizing potential complications and acting quickly as needed
  • Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Provide patient and family education on cardiac conditions, medications, and health management
  • Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate to develop effective care plans
