Schedule:

  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
  • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Significant Med/Surg nursing experience (required)
  • Prior experience with oncology patients is beneficial
  • Chemo certification (highly preferred)
  • ACLS certification (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Meditech EMR system is a plus
  • Demonstrated positive attitude and ability to thrive in a collaborative setting
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to a diverse population of patients—primarily medical-surgical and oncology cases
  • Function within a primary nursing care model on a 24-bed unit, usually at a 1:5 patient ratio
  • Administer chemotherapy (if chemo certified) and perform standard Med/Surg procedures
  • Conduct regular vital sign monitoring (including special protocols for remote tele patients)
  • Engage in direct communication with the care team using integrated iPhone technology
  • Contribute ideas and feedback for unit practices and patient care improvements
