In this flexible, full-time, full-school-year role (30 hours per week), you'll play a critical part in students’ well-being and empowerment. Your expertise in specialized medical needs will help ensure a safe, supportive environment for students aged 4 to 22.

Qualifications:

  • Current LPN or LVN licensure in California
  • Proven experience in a school setting
  • Skilled in care areas such as gastrostomy, bladder catheterization, diabetes care (including CGM and carb counting), seizure management, and administration of medications like EpiPens and Benadryl
  • Comfortable supporting students with ASD, developmental delays, and varying medical conditions
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Strong communication skills with both students’ families and school personnel
  • Ability to provide prompt response to urgent health issues
  • Responsibilities:

  • Administer direct student care and monitor ongoing health needs
  • Review and implement seizure and health management plans
  • Train school staff in health procedures and protocols
  • Connect regularly with parents to understand students’ needs
  • Rotate between students and campuses as needed
  • Be available on call for urgent medical situations
