Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Certified School Nurse (CSN) to support student wellness in a collaborative and dynamic educational setting near Chicago, IL. Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with Certified School Nurse (CSN) certification in Illinois.
  • Experience working in a school or pediatric setting, managing health plans and student health needs.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Action Plans.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements including state immunization laws and mandated health screenings.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to remain calm and responsive in urgent or changing situations.
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and emergency response.
  • Assess, plan, and manage student healthcare needs in alignment with school policies.
  • Serve as a health resource for the school community, offering training and support to staff and families.
  • Maintain accurate health records in accordance with privacy and legal guidelines.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing expertise to support student success and well-being.
