In this role, you’ll provide 1:1 care at a high school, supporting a student with Diabetes Insipidus at the Perkins School for the Blind. This unique clinical challenge will expand your knowledge of specialized conditions and further solidify your expertise working in a school environment.

Key Qualifications

  • Current, active RN license/certification
  • Previous experience in a school-based nursing role
  • Reliable transportation to the Framingham area
  • Ability and willingness to work scheduled hours (8:30am–3pm, Wed. 8:30am–2pm)
  • Comfortable with a high school population and 1:1 student support
  • Ability to interview via Zoom
  • Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee, monitor, and ensure proper fluid intake
  • Support student mobility and offer restroom assistance as needed
  • Administer noon medication and closely monitor sodium levels
  • Maintain vigilant observation for changes in condition
  • Collaborate with school staff and participate in onsite care at Perkins School for the Blind
