Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license required
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric nursing setting strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to work independently and manage varied caseloads efficiently
  • Understanding of childhood health issues, allergies, medication administration, and basic first aid
  • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and following all applicable regulations

    • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care to students, addressing acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic condition management
  • Administer medications and perform treatments according to student health plans and physician orders
  • Conduct vision, hearing, and other health screenings as needed
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administration to promote a safe and healthy educational environment
  • Respond swiftly to emergencies and provide care or refer to appropriate services
  • Educate students and staff on healthy habits and safety protocols
