Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care

    • Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with complex medical conditions
  • Monitor, interpret, and document vital signs and patient responses, including cardiac rhythms and other critical indicators
  • Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and families regarding care plans and treatments
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and best practice protocols
