As a Registered Nurse specializing in PCU and Stepdown care, you will be instrumental in providing expert, compassionate support to patients needing close monitoring and advanced interventions.

Schedule:

  • 3 x 12-hour night shifts each week
  • Rotating schedule with efforts to group shifts consecutively; specific days may vary week to week
  • Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with at least 2 years of recent experience in PCU, Stepdown, or Telemetry settings
  • Proficiency with medication drips and advanced cardiac life support interventions
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Demonstrated expertise in patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient treatment
  • Supervise, delegate, and document nursing interventions and patient education
  • Serve as a clinical leader to coordinate seamless patient care and support family involvement
  • Communicate pertinent patient information effectively within the healthcare team
  • Identify and address variances from patient goals, assisting in the development and implementation of solutions
  • This 13-week contract offers a competitive pay rate of $82.03 per hour, with overtime availability after 48 hours worked in a week.
