As an RN with ICU expertise, you’ll have the chance to collaborate within a multifaceted critical care environment encompassing 42 beds across Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surg/Trauma units. Schedule/Hours:

  • Shifts: 6:30p-7a
  • Block scheduling not guaranteed; flexibility is key
  • Desired Experience and Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU)
  • Prior travel nursing assignments required
  • Experience as ICU Charge or Manager RN (with references)
  • Proficient in EPIC EMR
  • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA) certifications; active NY RN license and all RN licenses (NURSYS verification required)
  • Current driver’s license matching profile demographics
  • CRRT and Prismaflex experience essential; heart experience highly preferred
  • Comfortable floating to all units except Behavioral and ER
  • Familiarity with advanced equipment: IABP, CRRT (PRISMA/NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun)
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive critical care for complex diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Cardiac events, and Post-op patients
  • Utilize specialty equipment with confidence
  • Maintain accuracy in documentation and contribute to interdisciplinary care
  • Adapt confidently to patient needs across multiple ICU subspecialties
