  • 36 hours guaranteed weekly
  • Variable shifts

  • Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Texas RN license (temp licenses not accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent operating room and day surgery experience
  • Proficient in preparing patients for surgery
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • Experience with patients across the lifespan (adolescents, adults, geriatrics)
  • Great interpersonal skills and a positive, professional demeanor
  • Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
  • Background in cardiovascular, medical/surgical, oncology, orthopedics, neuroscience, and bariatric services
  • Primary Responsibilities

  • Pre-operative and post-operative patient care within same-day surgery settings
  • Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams during procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to unit guidelines
  • Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care and patient education
  • Float to other units as needed
