Assignment Details:

  • Schedule: 5A – 5P
  • Unit: Pre-Op Holding / Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU)
  • 9 Pre-op beds, 5 Phase 2 recovery beds
  • Advanced equipment: Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG, Doppler, bladder scanner, and more
  • Contemporary EMR system: Meditech

As a travel nurse here, you’ll gain firsthand exposure to diverse surgical and recovery procedures, learning from seasoned staff while enhancing your clinical repertoire and adapting to different leadership methodologies.

    Desired Experience:

  • Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Phase 2 recovery experience required
  • Pre-op experience or the ability to support pre-op staff preferred
  • Proficiency with outpatient infusions, EKGs, blocks, blood transfusions, and supporting a variety of SDS cases
  • Strong adaptability and the ability to uphold a 30-minute on-call response time

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to pre-op and recovery patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across surgical, cath lab, and outpatient settings
  • Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and uphold the highest standards of professional practice
  • Document care in Meditech EMR while maintaining compliance with policies
  • Provide support for both routine and complex patient needs
