This assignment provides an exceptional opportunity to gain valuable experience in a Pre-Op and Phase 2 Recovery setting, working alongside seasoned RNs with diverse backgrounds. You’ll be part of a supportive team dedicated to best practices and patient-centered care, all while expanding your expertise with state-of-the-art technology and equipment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 5A – 5P

    • Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Demonstrated Phase 2 recovery experience
  • Ability to respond within 30 minutes for on-call shifts
  • Familiarity with Meditech EMR and equipment such as Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG machine, bladder scanner, and Doppler
  • Preferred: Experience in pre-op settings or willingness to support pre-op staff
  • Adaptable, collaborative, and detail-oriented

    • Role Responsibilities:

  • Care for patients in a 9-bed Pre-Op and 5-bed Phase 2 Recovery unit
  • Oversee recoveries for Urology, GYN, and SDS patients
  • Prepare patients for surgery, endoscopy, cath lab, EP procedures, CT scans, outpatient infusions, EKGs, blocks, and blood transfusions
  • Maintain patient safety and consistent high standards of care in collaboration with a skilled multidisciplinary team
