Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour night shifts: 6:30pm–7:00am
  • 36 hours guaranteed per week (option for 48 upon request)
  • 13-week contract with bi-weekly orientation
  • Weekends: Three out of every six weeks
  • Every other holiday rotation
  • Qualifications:

  • Active Compact RN license, AHA BLS, and NIHSS certification (required)
  • Minimum two years of strong Tele/Med/Surg experience
  • At least one previous travel assignment and Level II trauma experience
  • Recent EPIC charting experience (checkoff class required)
  • Proven assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with NIHSS, dysphagia screen, 12-lead EKG interpretation, titrating drips, and heart cath recovery
  • Charge nurse experience, NG/PEG tubes, PIV insertion, and chest tubes preferred
  • Flexible, resilient, and social team players who adapt well to change
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert nursing care for complex Med/Surg/Tele patients and cardiac interventions
  • Accurately monitor, assess, and document patient status
  • Interpret cardiac monitoring and respond to rapid condition changes
  • Float as needed within and between designated facilities, supporting dynamic staffing needs
  • Precept students and new staff as part of a teaching hospital environment
