The student requires dedicated medical support, including trach care, a continuous feeding tube, and wheelchair and hygiene assistance. Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active RN or LPN/LVN license in Ohio (or eligibility)
  • Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred, but not required
  • Compassionate, patient, and attentive demeanor
  • Comfort and willingness to support basic hygiene and mobility needs
  • Eagerness to learn new skills, including trach management (training provided)
  • Professionalism and reliability, with strong communication skills

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct 1:1 nursing care for a third grade student on-site and during bus transportation
  • Monitor and support tracheostomy, feeding tube, and general health needs
  • Assist with mobility, diaper changes, and other necessary personal care
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family to ensure comprehensive student safety and well-being
  • Document care and maintain clear communication regarding the student’s health status
