Schedule/Hours

  • 3 x 12-hour shifts: Days (7a–7p)
  • Weekend rotation: 1 in 4 weekends, 12-hour shifts
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: Up to 48 preferred (minimum 36)
  • Call required: One overnight trauma call (11p–7a); additional calls per specialty team
  • Qualifications

  • Certification: CST required
  • Minimum 3 years’ OR experience, with Level 1 trauma background
  • Proficiency with multiple specialties: General, GU/GYN, Ortho (trauma/joints), Neuro, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular preferred
  • Strong accountability, adaptability, and teamwork
  • Experience with Epic EMR and advanced surgical equipment (Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot)
  • Responsibilities

  • Scrub, set up, and assist for diverse surgical procedures in a 26-bed OR suite
  • Maintain patient safety in a 1:1 setting
  • Collaborate smoothly with multi-disciplinary surgical teams
  • Adhere to specialty team protocols and respond to trauma/emergent situations
