  • Valid RN license
  • Recent stepdown or progressive care nursing experience; previous cardiac surgery patient care preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and care for post-op cardiac surgical patients in the stepdown setting
