Essential Qualifications:

  • Active RN license, eligible for New York
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an OR setting
  • Proficiency with a wide array of surgical procedures and perioperative best practices
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
  • Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, effective perioperative care during pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
  • Serve as a circulator and scrub nurse for various surgical specialties
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Uphold infection control policies and strict adherence to sterile techniques
  • Document all assessments and interventions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide patient education and support throughout the surgical experience
