In this role, you’ll serve as a Certified School Nurse, making a positive impact across multiple schools in the area. The assignment starts August 26, 2024 and ends June 10, 2025, with a schedule thoughtfully balanced across three schools:

  • Mondays: 8:15am–3:45pm at Patton Elementary School
  • Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 7:45am–3:15pm at Thomas Middle School
  • Thursdays & Fridays: 8:15am–3:45pm at Olive-Mary Stitt Elementary School
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch; work only required on student attendance days
  • Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid RN license required
  • Certified School Nurse credential preferred
  • Experience in school settings or pediatric nursing an asset
  • Strong communication, organizational, and assessment skills
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Promote student wellness and provide care for routine and emergency issues
  • Administer medications and treatments according to care plans
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Document care and maintain health records per regulatory standards
