Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Recent experience in high-acuity Emergency Department settings
• BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC certifications required (TNCC/ATCN/CEN highly preferred)
• Skilled in caring for patients from infancy through geriatric age
• Competence in rapid assessment, triage, and advanced emergency interventions

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients on admission, considering physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs
• Reassess patients and revise care plans as conditions evolve
• Safely administer medications and treatments, documenting effectiveness and adverse reactions
• Perform treatments and procedures consistent with hospital standards, infection control, and privacy protocols
• Utilize SBAR for handoffs and collaborate with physicians/healthcare team members, escalating care as needed
• Educate patients and families using appropriate tools and address discharge planning needs
• Document care and teaching in a clear, timely, and accurate manner
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary planning, core measures, and safety/quality protocols
• Manage care for high-risk, complex, and age-diverse populations within the ED, including rapid medicine evaluation and admission/discharge processes
