Qualifications:

  • Current RN, BSN, and Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential for California required
  • Passion for supporting student health, safety, and well-being
  • Strong ability to communicate and consult with staff, families, and community partners
  • Knowledge of developing healthcare plans and coordinating medical care in a school setting
  • Able to pass fingerprinting/background requirements before starting
  • Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a health consultant to school staff, families, and community agencies
  • Coordinate and implement health services for students with varying needs
  • Develop healthcare plans, conduct screenings, and manage communicable disease protocols
  • Provide health education and promote emergency preparedness
  • Act as liaison between schools, healthcare providers, and families
