Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position; hours and shifts may vary based on patient needs and unit assignment.
  • Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in ICU nursing
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Ability to adapt quickly in new clinical environments and work effectively as part of a float pool
  • Proficient with electronic health records and the nursing process
  • Strong assessment, planning, and communication skills
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care for assigned individuals or groups, adhering to established standards and protocols
  • Collect and analyze relevant health data to guide care planning and decision-making
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans in partnership with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Coordinate interventions and delegate activities appropriately to other healthcare personnel
  • Provide patient and family education, supporting informed decision-making and recovery
  • Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care
