Schedule/Hours:

Night shift

3x12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours guaranteed)

Block scheduling available on request

Weekends as needed

No call requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert care in a 19-bed ICU, maintaining a patient ratio averaging 2/3:1

Respond dynamically to patients with medical, basic cardiac, and neurological needs

Titrate cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol) and manage ventilated compressors

Utilize BIPAPs, Airvos, and monitor for signs of patient deterioration

Float to Med Surg and Tele units as needed, supporting hospital staffing flexibility

Accurately document within the EPIC EMR system, ensuring strict adherence to clinical and regulatory standards

Foster teamwork and collaboration with colleagues, engaging in continuous improvement practices

Desired Experience/Qualifications:

Current RN licensure (Missouri or valid temporary permit)

Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience

Certifications: BLS and ACLS (current or completed within required timeframe)

Strong background in Critical Care, Post Stroke care, titrating cardiac drips, and advanced airway management

American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card required (or obtained during probation)

Ability to excel under pressure; self-starter mentality and effective communication skills

Comfort with medical calculation tests preferred
