Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts: 3x12-hour shifts
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Block scheduling approved by request
  • Weekend shifts as needed
  • No required call
  • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with the Missouri State Board of Nursing or a current Missouri temporary work permit
  • 2+ years of critical care experience
  • Valid ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association) certification—or willingness to obtain during probation
  • Competency in post-stroke care, titrating cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol), BIPAPs, use of Airvos, ventilated compressors, and recognizing patient deterioration
  • Ability to successfully float to Med Surg and Telemetry as required
  • Team-oriented, self-starting personality
  • Strong preference for those who excel in medical calculation assessments
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive care in a 19-bed ICU with patient ratios averaging 2/3:1
  • Manage and titrate critical drips, advanced respiratory support, and acute neuro/cardiac interventions
  • Effectively document within EPIC EMR
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
