An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology (IR) to support a high-performing healthcare team. This contract role is focused solely on vascular procedures, with no neuro, stroke, or cath lab responsibilities. You'll play a vital part in maintaining seamless patient care as a key IR RN transitions out of the department mid-August.

Schedule/Hours:

Full-time contract position

Essential Qualifications:

Active RN license with current credentials in good standing

Demonstrated clinical experience in Interventional Radiology

Proficient in all vascular IR procedures, including PE, Thrombectomies, DVT management, Angiograms, fistulas, and nephrostomies

Exceptional interpersonal and critical thinking skills

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle high-acuity cases

BLS and ACLS certifications (required or willing to obtain prior to start)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver expert nursing care to patients undergoing a wide range of vascular IR procedures

Collaborate closely with interventional radiology physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Monitor and assess patient status before, during, and after procedures

Provide timely patient education and emotional support throughout the treatment process

Uphold strict adherence to regulatory safety, infection control, and documentation standards
