An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology (IR) to support a high-performing healthcare team. This contract role is focused solely on vascular procedures, with no neuro, stroke, or cath lab responsibilities. You'll play a vital part in maintaining seamless patient care as a key IR RN transitions out of the department mid-August.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time contract position
  • Essential Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with current credentials in good standing
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in Interventional Radiology
  • Proficient in all vascular IR procedures, including PE, Thrombectomies, DVT management, Angiograms, fistulas, and nephrostomies
  • Exceptional interpersonal and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle high-acuity cases
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (required or willing to obtain prior to start)
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert nursing care to patients undergoing a wide range of vascular IR procedures
  • Collaborate closely with interventional radiology physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor and assess patient status before, during, and after procedures
  • Provide timely patient education and emotional support throughout the treatment process
  • Uphold strict adherence to regulatory safety, infection control, and documentation standards
