Professionals skilled in medical-surgical nursing are sought for a contract opportunity in a Magnet-recognized setting. This role demands expertise in telemetry and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment caring for a range of adult patients.

Schedule and Hours:

  • Night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend and holiday required

    • Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Massachusetts RN license
  • American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent medical-surgical/telemetry experience
  • Previous travel contract experience
  • Proficiency with Meditech and telemetry equipment
  • Successful completion of a telemetry test on the first day of orientation
  • Ability to float to similar units as needed
  • Proof of 2024/2025 flu vaccination required prior to start

    • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-focused care to a diverse med-surg/telemetry population
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage telemetry equipment
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
  • Document thoroughly in Meditech, adhering to facility and regulatory standards
  • Adhere to infection prevention and safety protocols at all times
  • Adapt quickly to changes, including floating to comparable units if necessary
