ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher (Moderate/Severe) to join a supportive school district in Berkeley, CA. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with elementary-aged students, providing specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.

35.85 hours per week
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay range: $45–$60/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Position Details:
Caseload: Elementary School
Approximately 11 students per year
Number of Open Positions: 2
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
Collect and analyze student progress data
Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student needs
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
Active California Education Specialist Credential (Moderate/Severe) required
Candidates must possess at least an active CA Moderate/Severe credential

Previous school-based experience preferred
