Position Overview:

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Emeryville, CA. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative educational environment, supporting students with mild to moderate learning needs and helping them achieve academic success through individualized instruction and support.

Work Schedule:
School Year: August 19, 2026 – June 14, 2027
Part-Time: 20 hours per week
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay range: $40–$50/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs) for students with mild to moderate disabilities
Provide specialized instruction aligned with student goals and academic standards
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Adapt curriculum, instructional methods, and classroom materials to meet student needs
Support positive behavioral, social, and academic outcomes
Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
Active California Special Education Teaching Credential required
Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to develop and implement effective instructional strategies and accommodations
Caseload:
Mild/Moderate

Must hold active California Special Education credentials
