A skilled CVOR Tech is needed to provide comprehensive support in surgical settings, including endovascular, open heart, and thoracic specialties. This contract position is vital for the successful expansion of the Endovascular service line, notably in the high-acuity Hybrid OR environment. Your expertise will help ensure the highest quality outcomes for complex surgical and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • On-call coverage required

    • Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
  • Prior experience as a CVOR Tech in endovascular, open heart, and thoracic procedures
  • Proficiency supporting procedures in a Hybrid OR environment
  • Skilled in both surgical and interventional cardiovascular techniques and protocols
  • Strong commitment to patient safety and sterile technique
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, especially when responding to on-call demands
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, maintain, and manage the sterile field in cardiovascular operating rooms, including Hybrid ORs
  • Assist surgeons with the full spectrum of cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
  • Handle instruments and supplies during surgical and interventional cases with precision
  • Support the growth of the Endovascular service line by adapting to evolving hybrid surgical/interventional workflows
  • Respond effectively to on-call duties, ensuring emergency procedures are supported without delay
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care
