Pediatric School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Waukegan, Illinois

Step into an impactful role supporting students’ health and well-being as a contract Registered Nurse within a therapeutic school setting in Lake County. Your typical week will consist of working 37.5 hours across five weekdays. You’ll serve as the regular health office nurse, though instead of students coming to you, you’ll respond directly to calls from various classrooms. This approach allows you to experience a dynamic school day while having a dedicated space in the health office for organizing medical records and supplies. You’ll also play a pivotal role in care management for students—such as those with diabetes—and may contribute valuable insights during IEP meetings.
