Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Cath Lab nursing experience
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Strong IV skills, cardiac monitoring proficiency, and experience assisting with diagnostic/interventional procedures
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills

    • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with pre-, intra-, and post-operative care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
  • Monitor and document patients’ status throughout procedures, responding to any changes in condition
  • Administer medications and manage IVs per provider orders and established protocols
  • Ensure sterile technique and compliance with safety policies at all times
  • Provide patient and family education and emotional support throughout the care continuum
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and support staff to deliver patient-centered care
  • Accurately maintain nursing records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
