Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Valid and current RN license
  • Demonstrated recent experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) settings
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Proven ability to handle high-acuity patients including post-cardiac surgery and advanced cardiac monitoring
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Adaptability and composure in fast-paced critical care scenarios

    • Primary Duties:

  • Deliver comprehensive care to CVICU patients, including ongoing assessment, monitoring, and intervention
  • Execute physician orders for medications, treatments, and life-support interventions
  • Provide clear, compassionate education and counsel to patients and families regarding care updates and procedures
  • Collaborate with fellow nurses, physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff to coordinate individualized care plans
  • Maintain precise, timely, and accurate medical documentation
  • Uphold strict infection control and safety policies
