Position Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time 1:1 school nursing position in Prior Lake, MN. The RN will provide dedicated nursing care and support to one student throughout the school day.
The student has a tracheostomy and requires suctioning, along with ongoing nursing support throughout the school day.
Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 nursing care to the assigned student
Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning as needed
Monitor the student's health and respond to medical needs
Communicate with school staff and the student's care team
Maintain accurate nursing documentation
Requirements
Active Minnesota RN license
Experience with tracheostomy care and suctioning
Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
Ability to provide consistent 1:1 care throughout the school day
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: December, with likely extension through the end of the school year
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: Hourly rate based on experience and school budget
Benefits: Available for eligible full-time employees
