Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students aged 3-22 as a Registered Nurse within an engaging school environment. This position, based near Beverly, MA and running from August 31, 2023 through June 13, 2024, offers the chance to enrich the lives of children and young adults, including those with special needs. With a consistent Monday through Friday schedule and 37.5 hours per week, you’ll become a valued partner in student health and success.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current and valid RN license in Massachusetts.
  • Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred.
  • Confidence working with students with a variety of physical, behavioral, and cognitive special needs.
  • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing records and care plans.
  • Flexibility and adaptability within dynamic school settings.
  • CPR/AED certification (current).
  • Ability to navigate Zoom or onsite interviews.

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first aid, medical evaluations, and emergency care as needed during school hours.
  • Administer prescribed medications and medical treatments per physician orders.
  • Maintain, review, and update student health records and care plans.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for students with special needs.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and parents to support each child’s health.
  • Contribute to health education initiatives and promote wellness throughout the school community.
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as required.
