  • Qualifications:

  • Certification as a CVOR Tech (or equivalent surgical technologist credential)
  • Current, unencumbered Nursing license (if applicable for your state)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience within a cardiovascular operating room
  • Proficient in a variety of specialized cardiovascular procedures
  • AHA BLS certification (or equivalent)
  • Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills
  • Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons in the Cardiovascular Operating Room with procedures, instrument handling, and sterile techniques
  • Coordinate with circulating nurses and surgical teams to ensure efficient case flow
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
  • Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is functional
  • Document procedures and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
