Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment; hours vary depending on facility needs

    • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license (unencumbered, with eligibility in Florida)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience as a CVOR RN
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams in high-acuity surgical settings

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Scrub and circulate in the operating room, assisting with a wide range of cardiovascular surgical procedures
  • Work closely with surgeons and anesthesia providers to deliver optimal patient care
  • Monitor patient status intraoperatively, responding quickly to changes
  • Maintain accurate records, ensure equipment is prepared and functional
  • Provide post-operative support and education to patients and families
