Your assignment spans advanced Med-Surg and Med-Tele units that emphasize decompressing busy ED and specialty areas. You'll collaborate with diverse interdisciplinary teams, learn new technologies such as Epic and Alaris, and engage with medical protocols that build your clinical versatility. Being part of a large regional health system will grow your understanding of different leadership approaches and workplace cultures, preparing you for greater career opportunities.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
  • Rotating weekends (every other)
  • No mandatory call
  • 75% holiday coverage expectation
  • Up to 6 days off can be requested (excludes holidays)
  • Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license; BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification
  • Minimum 2 years Med/Tele RN experience preferred
  • Strong general Med/Tele skillset, including stroke care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, advanced drain and tube management
  • Proficiency in PIV starts, chest tube management, cardiac drips, blood product administration, and PCAs
  • Epic EMR experience is a plus
  • Flexibility to float within assigned region as needed
  • Key Duties:

  • Deliver primary care to adults/geriatrics for varied diagnoses (COPD, pneumonia, CHF, trauma, PE, GI bleeds, etc.)
  • Maintain safe RN-to-patient ratios (acuity may adjust ratios)
  • Perform unit-based telemetry monitoring and interpret results each shift
  • Supervise CNAs and collaborate with 24/7 phlebotomy, IV/VAT, RT, and hospitalist support
  • Participate in an orientation program and onboarding into a supportive, team-focused culture
