Nurses specializing in NICU have the opportunity to grow through exposure to specialized equipment—including Servo U & Drager VN500 ventilators, F&P Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, Vaportherm, and heliox therapy—while utilizing leading electronic documentation systems like Epic. This travel assignment offers a prime chance to work alongside a dedicated, experienced team, further developing your skills in a well-equipped, award-winning environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7PM Start Time
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Qualifications or Desired Experience:

  • Valid, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Neonatal ICU or PICU Critical Care experience
  • Proficient in managing ventilated patients and setting up/monitoring heliox therapy
  • Familiarity with Bubble CPAP, high frequency ventilation, non-invasive ventilation (biPAP and CPAP), and nitric oxide administration
  • PALS certification required
  • Comfortable independently admitting and caring for critical pediatric patients
  • Ability to adapt to Epic documentation
  • Required uniform: Hunter Green
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced critical care for neonatal and pediatric ICU patients
  • Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation and administer specialized therapies
  • Admit, monitor, and treat critically ill newborns and infants
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including secretaries and technicians, to deliver excellent patient care
  • Float to similar units as needed and uphold hospital care standards
