This assignment places you in a top-performing NICU utilizing advanced equipment like Servo U & Drager VN500 ventilators, Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, Vaportherm, and heliox therapy. You'll have the advantage of collaborating with an experienced team whose commitment to superior patient outcomes has earned recognition and departmental awards. Hands-on exposure to a variety of care protocols and leadership approaches ensures that your resume grows along with your skills.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts, starting at 7PM
  • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with at least 1 year of Neonatal ICU or PICU critical care experience
  • Proficient in independently admitting/managing vented patients (including use of Servo-U ventilators)
  • Skilled in setup/management of heliox therapy (invasive and non-invasive)
  • Familiarity with biPAP, CPAP, Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide, and high-frequency ventilation
  • Current PALS certification required
  • Comfortable using Epic for documentation
  • Must adhere to the hunter green uniform dress code
  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based, specialized care to critically ill neonates and pediatric patients
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient progress in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Maintain and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment and technologies
  • Participate in frequent staff collaboration, continuous learning, and quality improvement efforts
