You’ll gain impressive experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center and Stroke Center, adding valuable credentials and diversity to your resume, all while working alongside respected healthcare leaders.

Schedule:

  • Shifts: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
  • Every other weekend rotation
  • No on-call requirement
  • Expect to work 75% of holidays (travelers)
  • Qualifications:

  • RN licensure (Nursing - RN-PEDS)
  • Minimum 1 year of acute pediatric hem/oncology experience
  • Required: BLS, APHON chemo certification
  • PALS preferred
  • Strong pediatric assessment/critical thinking; central line management; chemo administration
  • Responsibilities:

  • Care for pediatric hem/oncology and adolescent medicine patients (ratios: 1:3–4 PHO, 1:4–5 adolescent med)
  • Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, hospitalists, intensivists, and resource teams
  • Employ Epic EMR, Alaris pumps, and Omnicell for medication management
  • Rotate routinely between related pediatric units (not including ED)
  • Engage in unit culture focused on teamwork, education, and high safety standards
