Qualifications:

  • Active RN licensure in good standing
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a school nurse or in a pediatric nursing role
  • Experience working with students from early childhood through high school (Grades K–12)
  • Demonstrated skill in 1:1 pediatric care and managing care for a variety of ages
  • Strong communication, assessment, and documentation abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare teams

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care for students, including direct 1:1 support for those with medical needs
  • Provide age-appropriate health education and wellness promotion across grade levels (K–12)
  • Serve as a resource to students, parents, and staff regarding health conditions, medications, and emergency response
  • Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans, ensuring compliance with state and school requirements
  • Respond to acute medical concerns or injuries, and manage chronic conditions in the school setting
  • Maintain accurate health records and participate in relevant meetings with school teams
