Make a meaningful impact by delivering expert oncology care to patients as a Registered Nurse specializing in Med-Surg Oncology. This opportunity involves providing comprehensive nursing support to individuals undergoing cancer treatments, collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for oncology and med-surg individuals
  • Monitoring chemotherapy and other treatment responses, managing side effects, and ensuring timely interventions
  • Administering medications, IV therapies, and blood products per protocols
  • Educating patients and families about treatment plans, symptom management, and at-home care instructions
  • Maintaining detailed electronic medical records and care documentation
  • Adhering to best practices for infection control and safety
  • Working closely with physicians, pharmacists, and allied health professionals to coordinate care
  • Supporting patients emotionally and addressing their questions and concerns during treatment

    • Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Recent clinical experience in Medical-Surgical and Oncology nursing required
  • Strong IV skills and competency with chemotherapy administration preferred
  • BLS certification (current)
  • Excellent critical thinking, assessment, and communication abilities
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach; ability to provide comfort and support
  • Flexible with dynamic, fast-paced environments and shifting priorities
