Schedule/Hours:

  • Must arrive the Thursday before your start date for a Friday employee health appointment.
  • Consistent schedules, designed to help you balance work and the joys of island life.

    • Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering advanced chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and injections in adherence to provider orders.
  • Accessing and maintaining port-a-caths, PICC lines, and Hickman catheters.
  • Conducting venipuncture, managing dressings, and drawing labs via various access devices.
  • Providing thorough clinical care to all assigned patients and maintaining meticulous records of treatments and responses.
  • Monitoring and accurately documenting all intravenous therapies.
  • Quickly notifying appropriate medical professionals when unusual patient responses occur and initiating emergency protocols when needed.
  • Educating patients, families, and caregivers regarding medications, side effects, disease processes, and necessary lifestyle adjustments.
  • Verifying informed consent before administering chemotherapy.
  • Ensuring proper handling, administration, and disposal of hazardous drugs using PPE, while upholding the highest safety standards.
  • Working efficiently within Epic EMR.
  • Supporting related duties as assigned in a dynamic 18 semi-private bay setting.

    • Ideal candidates should have:

  • Current RN license with significant experience in MS Oncology.
  • Proficiency in Epic EMR.
  • In-depth knowledge of chemotherapy agents and administration.
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate, team-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility for travel assignments and onsite onboarding requirements.
